STRABANE MORNING POST:

November 29 1836


Sudden Death - On Monday se’nnight, a farmer named MITCHELL, attended Nn. Stewart market, where he transacted business, and returned in the evening on a car in company with his wife, to his home, in the vicinity of Baronscourt. He, however, shortly after took ill, and, in less than fifteen minutes, breathed his last. He was a healthy looking man, of sober habits, and was in the prime of life

Married on the 6th inst., in the Presbyterian Church, Fintona, by the Rev. Robert Chambers, MR. CHARLES MITCHELL, to ISABELLA, third daughter of MR. WILLIAM CULBERTSON, of Ballanmore. This was the first marriage celebrated in that church under the new act

Died at Strabane, on Monday, the 14th inst., DAVID MITCHELL, ESQ., surgeon, R.N., aged 62 years. He entered the navy as surgeon in 1803, and served under the celebrated ADMIRAL NELSON, he resided in Strabane for upwards of thirty years
